In today’s video we will talk about the Aurora HDR 2019 from Skylum.
If you like HDR photos, photos with high dynamic range, you need to know the new version of Aurora HDR 2019, one of the most complete editors for HDR photos.
Aurora HDR 2019
Aurora HDR 2019 is produced by Skylum, the same company that makes one of my favorite software at the moment, Luminar.
Aurora is intended for HDR photo treatments and does this job very well. It can work photos in bracketing or simulate HDR editing with just a single exposure. It has a new image processing engine, the Quantum HDR Engine, which took about 3 years to develop and finally shows the faces at Aurora HDR 2019.
If you liked Luminar I assure you that Aurora HDR will not disappoint you at all. Aurora HDR will be launched on the next 4th and until then Skylum has a promotion where you will get a $ 10 discount on the Aurora HDR 2019 advance purchase.
Take a look at the video at the top of the page to see a little bit of what is possible with this software. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to the YouTube channel so you don’t miss any news!
High Dynamic Range photos are a really cool thing that we are going to talk about today. For those who don’t know what HDR photos are, take a look below:
HDR photos are high dynamic range photos. High dynamic range is nothing more than the difference in light and shadows within a photo.
As we are not always able to have the same lighting throughout the photo, so we make more than one exposure for the same photo. There are usually between 3 and 5 exhibitions. Using this technique you can create an exposure for dark regions, another for light regions and a correct exposure for your photo. That way you can increase the amount of information you have in the photo.
But we are not always able to handle an hdr image in a simple way, and we need dedicated software for this.
Doing this treatment, which is actually a mix between all your exposures, is relatively easy to do in Photoshop. But no software I’ve tested to date does this as well as Skylum’s Aurora.
In its latest version Aurora HDR 2019 is just fantastic. With this tool just select the photos you want to mix and the job is practically done.
It doesn’t matter if you use WIndows or Mac, Aurora HDR is available for both systems and keeps its promise. Comparing Aurora HDR to previous versions, you will come across a new interface, and a completely redesigned engine.
